http://www.choldings.com/Marketing%20Packages/McAlisterSquare.pdf The V V S C was originally made up of Parents and Guardians of people from the Disability Community who were affected by the Medicaid Waiver Changes in South Carolina for 2009. Now in 2010 our numbers also include siblings, the neighbors next door, the mail man/lady, the druggist, the grocery store checkout person, the waiter/waitress, hairdressers, doctors, nurses, therapist, etc. ... all have the same message ... We feel that if the even more of the public is educated on this issue some of the “terribly negative” and some “down right ugly” remarks we are hearing could be eliminated or at least softened. After all, you can’t hold what people don’t know…against them! But once they know the truth, people become ethically and morally responsible for their judgments! Thank you" to each person who chooses Keep up your intensity. _____________________________
Right now our Lawmakers talk in terms of numbers. They do not see the Disability Community as PEOPLE, so we want to add names to all those numbers. Below is the list we have started. Make sure your loved ones first name is on this list by sending us an email at the address given below.
